Now, I’m not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but it’s something that’s been bugging me all day.
So we’ve all seen the zoomed picture from them filming, where you can see Sherlock’s silhouette and a lamp.
I noticed that a lot of people have been saying that it isn’t 221B, seeing as they don’t have a lamp, but they do.
Remember this scene?
221B’s living room might not have that kind of lamp, but Sherlock’s room most certainly does~

And I think he deserves a little thanks, as an actor. Tumblr is filled with thank-you posts and “bless this posts” when it comes to Martin or Benedict, or Rupert or Mark. But Jonathan Aris has created a character Sherlockians love to see—if only to hear Sherlock’s comments towards him, and see his reaction.
Did you know he was in the original London cast of “Fame”?
Did you know he went to school for painting, initially? Or that he knows Italian and Russian? Or that he plays violin?
I’d just like to thank him for being a great actor, who plays a character that fans put so much hate towards.
YOU CAN BE A GOOD ACTOR WHILE STILL BEING A HORRIBLE CHARACTER.
